Who is VLP for? |
IAR Volume License Program is tailored for new and existing customers who wish to:
- Save money be reusing already made investments
- Increase ease-of-use in license administration
- Ensure flexibility in multiple and/or time-critical projects
- Extend use of software by portability between products and target MCUs
- Protect investment by additional support and services

Tiers |
Flexibility: 5–9 IAR Embedded Workbench licenses
- 10% discount when you purchase a new IAR Embedded Workbench license
- Support and Update Agreement
- Activate 'old' licenses where SUA has expired
- Upgrade to full license from limited or baseline

Portability: 10–19 IAR Embedded Workbench licenses
- 15% discount when you purchase a new IAR Embedded Workbench license
- Includes all benefits from the previous tier
- Migrate from 8- or 16-bit target licenses to 32-bit MCU
- Add mobility to your license

Extend: 20–34 IAR Embedded Workbench licenses
- 20% discount when you purchase a new IAR Embedded Workbench license
- Includes all benefits from the previous tiers
- Extended services with priority technical support

Standardize: 35–49 IAR Embedded Workbench licenses

Two steps and one action to join the program |
- Review the number of current licenses of IAR Embedded Workbench you host in your organization. All IAR Embedded Workbench licenses with Support and Update Agreement count in the program.
- Decide what program tier you want to reach and how many new licenses you need.
- Contact your local IAR Systems office or send in a request from the web form to the right.
- If you have between 5 and 19 licenses, you can normally enter the VLP program on a work group or department level.
- If you have 20 licenses or more, the VLP contract is typically signed in cooperation with your procurement department after an agreement on the exact contents for your organization.
