Q: How can I enter IAR Volume License Program? |
| A: It’s simple, you enter the IAR Volume License Program when you purchase one or more IAR Embedded Workbench licenses from IAR Systems. |
Q: How much discount will I receive? |
| A: If your organization has five or more registered IAR Embedded Workbench licenses under Support and Update Agreement, you will have a discount based on the number of licenses and the current list price of the product you purchase. |
Q: Are there other benefits too? |
A: Yes, you will get a discount also when you purchase SUA for products without a valid SUA, when you upgrade from a limited or baseline edition to the standard edition of a product, when you migrate from an 8- or 16-bit product to 32-bit, when you make your license mobile, or when you upgrade from other vendors.
On the higher tiers of the program, you also have extended services, license subscription and customer-specific agreements. |
Q: Do only new purchases count? |
| A: No, when you buy a new IAR Embedded Workbench license, you need to identify existing licenses under Support and Update Agreement (SUA) within your business unit or organization and send us the license details. We will use our license database to verify how many licenses your business unit has registered. |

| A: We will use our license data base to verify how many licenses your business unit has registered. |
Q: Can I view my IAR Volume License Program status online? |
| A: No, IAR Volume License Program is based on the number of licenses registered by your organization, not your individual registrations. Contact your local IAR Systems office to get the status information. |
Q: I have purchased my existing licenses from a distributor, is there a difference? |
| A: As long as your licenses are registered in your company name, they count in IAR Volume License Program. |
